Swisstank LLP is one of the world’s leading publicly traded crude and product tanker owners and operators, providing seaborne transportation of crude oil, refined petroleum, and other products on international shipping markets. Swisstank LLP owns and maintains a fleet of 14 boats divided into two categories: crude tankers (3 Suezmax vessels and 1 Aframax vessel) and product tankers (10 medium range (MR) vessels). Swisstank LLP controls a third of the local crude oil transportation business while also providing services to other large domestic oil companies. We transport crude oil based on long-term contracts with safety in mind as a national strategic resource.

Regular onboard visits, briefing and debriefing sessions upon joining or disembarking, modern communication methods and conferences ashore, as well as onboard or in-house training programs, keep the vessels and sailors in constant contact with the shore staff. Vessel and crew performance is evaluated by superintendents, internal and external auditors, customers, and national and international regulatory agencies. On the way back after each delivery, the tanks are cleaned so that they are ready to use as soon as they arrive at the next loading point. The high pumping capacity (300–600 m3/hour) and tank design allow for quick freight loading and unloading. The crews have a one-week on, one-week off schedule. This ensures that Swisstank is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All of the ships have the most up-to-date navigation, communication, and computer systems.

The vessels of Swisstank LLP are self-built. Engineers from the company take the hulls and install the tanks, engine rooms, controls, loading and unloading machinery, cargo heating, tank washing systems, and all other necessary amenities. Everything has been built specifically for the transportation of oils, fats, and derivatives. Steel and stainless steel have always been utilized in the construction of tanks and equipment at Swisstank LLP to provide higher standards of hygiene, more efficient cleaning, and improved product quality. Hot water heaters are installed in the tanks.
